Thanks, Ron- Steer whip has a fiberglass handle, which is lighter, no transition knot for a sleek look, handcut wood grip. Lighter in the handle which makes it quite nose heavy. Not a fully loaded Bull, thus a Steer...yessir I will take a pic of the binding if photobucket will cooperate
Mr. Johnny, thank you sir. Yes I use a twisted taper for core and ends of all my bellies.
Miss Bobbi thank you. That's the 550 chocolate brown from Whip Nation.

No sir, I'm referring to plaiting thickly-as in not dropping as quickly as "normal" and packing/stacking plaiting. There are better descriptions by Miss Bobbi in other parts of the Forum.
I don't use any bolsters of any kind at this time except for sinker cord on some bullwhips. Everything else is nylon paracord and artificial sinew. I do use staging (mason line) to build knot foundations or diameter of handles if needed.

Thanks, Erik
Miss Bobbi it's soft on the hands. I love it for bellies and cores. I can get a much tighter and more even TT with it.
Mr. Robert thank you, sir. It will be black and silver. I know I enjoy build photos too
Charlie thank you, yessir it is a 3/8" solid rod with a slightly shaped and tapered end.
