Love autocorrect! Thanks, Grant!
I had wanted to keep as much strength as possible on the handle but just couldn't stand it... I had to take more stock off of the exterior of the cup. It looked to me like it was snub-nosed.
So here's the skinnier version:
Note to self, make these decisions before you glue in a thong

Thank you very much, Tyler! Yessir it did but in a good way, the ash is hard but fairly light (compared to Goncalo or heavier Bois D'arc). The thong is also quite light...
In my opinion it didn't feel right before, not fully alive. It is much better now.
I'm still surprised how such small adjustments can make a very big difference.

Rachel...that new avater picture is wonderful. You should use that as portrait when you start to sell your whips officially, sometimes. And the whips themselves - great work. Allow me to say that this community (okay, at least a few members) were helpful to you to become the whip maker you are now. That is a wonderful example what happens when people work together instead of only showing off how great everybody is.
Congratulations, Rachel. And - not to forget - congratulations to Roy, who's Whip Nation became a fundamental part of whip making within no time!
