Yes it is for Renate. I hope she loves it. I formed the knot foundation for the accent knot and another layer of epoxy seals it all. I think I might go ahead and form the heel knot foundation today too and get that epoxied and drying before putting it all together. I should have done it last night, but I was busy struggling with the idea of epoxy over the beadwork. I’m glad now that I did it.

I like to tie as many knots as I can before building the thong. It's much easier to tighten without a big long tail flopping around. So, here is the handle with the heel counter weighted and built up:

And with the knots tied:

The hardest part is done. Now, time to build!

These have rubber grips. I can pull super tight. I got 3 pair on amazon for 15$. The rubber will wear off after a while where the cord rubs. Of course, pink is my color, but the colors are due to the fact that I need kid sizes. You have to make sure they are rubber grip though. I have ordered some before that was a kind of lame plastic. Worthless.

Scott, yeah. The gray part is rubber. I cut off the tips.
So, it's all done. 6 foot overall length with Czech glass beads hand woven on the handle. Plaited from the tip with an english eye in sassy red. I think it's a sexy whip. It's plenty stiff and will need a little breaking in, but cracks very nice. It can dance a little better once it limbers up.
