This is the Gallery of "Sui Generis Whips" - Jessie Edwards

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

Miss Jessie I'm sorry that it took me so long to comment on this. It is amazing to see the amount detail and originality each of these whips have when you see the number in which it corresponds. The time that you must devote to each of these handles says a lot about you and the passion you have for your work. I don't think short cut or time saver has every crossed your mind while making a whip and that equals beautiful results. The Love for your work shines through in everything you do. I have to agree with everyone the Populus has got to be my favorite. That handle is just Bad Ass.

Wow, Jessie. Just wow. Those handles are incredible, not to mention the thongs and knots. Truly beautiful whips :).

Populus is my dad's whip. He made that handle. Not me. I'm sure he had no idea it would have ever become the handle to a whip, but I don't think he would mind.

Stilio is finished. My plaiting is so much better. I am still having trouble dropping from 6 to 4. Whip number 13.

The spider really goes with the copper.
Very nice job Jessie.

Thank you, Ron. I haven't even cracked it. I know I should, but...IDK. This one made me smile, which is funny, because I disliked the handle when I first made it. I thought it was lame.

Edit: Cracked it. I'm grinning.

I know you're grinning but , how does it crack?

Are you going to wax it?
Or did you already wax the thong ?

Tyler's right. The only thing lame about it is that it's not mine.

I am NOT fond of spiders at all,
But I LOVE this whip. It is completely different than anything out there, and it's gorgeous!
Bad to the bone!

The handle is polyurethaned within an inch of it's life and then mine. The fires of Mount Doom won't hurt it. Wax was no problem. Just wiped it off.

Mount Doom? Well... The only thing that could be a serious danger for that whip is me. The plaiting looks good. You improved, compared to the other whips. And you will become better and better. The flower in the pond - isn't the flower, which is still under water, not a Flo... and so on... :D

Loving the multiple handle knots. They really set off the design. Bootiful!

Jessie, I have just one word: splendid! It's the knots that really do it for me! :)
