Here's a view of a show lunge whip for working a pair of oxen.
The thong is a single belly 14 plait with an English Eye, a 16 plait diamond handle. The fall/thong is an 8 plait 24 inch with a twisted taper end. Just a piece of paracord for a cracker with the oxen.
A 5x4 two pass TH knot at transition, a 7x6 two pass TH knot at the heel. A dime in the heel under the handle's square start.
