The "Making of" Gallery - Rachel McCollough

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

Alexis, there should be a full set of pictures in this particular thread.... Just go back a couple pages. The Triplets pictures shows pretty much everything.

I look forward to finishing a whip I am currenly almost done with. It will really be very neat to see what its new owner thinks about it.

Here is a 16 plait SINGLE belly cow whip in Imperial Red and Maroon split colors with fancy plaiting I did a while back for a special person. The handle is 15" bubinga.
I think it is around 7 or 7.5'

I really don‘t like Rachel. Every time she brought up some new patterns and/or color combinations, I say to myself: „That‘s it. Impossible to find anything new, now...“ And what does Rachel...? She finds new patterns and color combinations. She proves me wrong all the time ;)

A beautiful working whip there! The handle and thong go together great! And the patterning adds a bit of style. Wonder what maroon and neon green would look like... :p

I love how you "barrel" the cup part. It makes it look so sleek and streamlined.

I agree...and a picture of a well-plaited, coiled whip sometimes has something almost ‚hypnotic‘ in it... one could look at it for minutes!
