The "Making of" Gallery - Rachel McCollough

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

Garret's skills are getting better for sure.
Crackin' a belly and being careful not to over stress the whip too early in the process is not that easy to do.
It does appear to flow well.

Garret’s got nice form, i’m sure he’s got an amazing teacher.
That whip is looking great Rachel and it sure moves very well. Your twisted tapers always look so perfect, they really are a treat to inspect. Is it easier to twist hide compared to nylon?

Thank you Nathan, the hide is easier in that you need to not twist it so tight. The key to the nylon TT in my humble opinion is the tightness and lack of hinges.

Garret has been well taught by his dad and Robby's videos, Whip Basics: A Beginner's Guide, Vol. I-V. He is still learning, of course, but he had the best start possible! Me, I have a lot of practice to do ;)

Every time I see one of your roo whips coming to life, I start thinking about our next project...
I'll give it a try, Dad, but it's going to be really hard...kind of like trying to saw something in half using a banana.
