Absolutely insane pair of whips in a good way. That is some serious strand dropping to get that kind of taper in such a compact whip. U R bad azz

Thanks Roy! Although, it's actually serious strand additions, plaiting backwards :) Devin, you're welcome, and thanks to Franco and Gio for your kind words! :)

Thanks Bobbi! It would be fun to see what someone who's better at two handed cracking like Fritz could do :)

I would think that you could do a volly like a machine gun! they look like they work very well. I never thought of making a whip that short.

Despite your disclaimers, you are not so bad at the two-hand work yourself. Very nice cracking, and gorgeous whips.
I'm struggling with two-handed cracking myself (albeit with long slow whips), and if I get to your level in the next couple of years, I should be pretty happy!

I agree with Jonathan. You are really great. I would love to be at your skill level. I only started playing with 2 handed stuff less than a year ago.

Like I posted on YouTube - the whips are great. Very good work. And that taper... Perfect. And your two handed cracking is better than everything I coud do. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Carl! I wouldn't have thought of it myself, it was purely the customers idea. He said he'd seen one that short and thought a set would be cool. I was nervous, I didn't know if they'd be crackable until the plaiting was done!

Thanks Robert and Jonathan! Jonathan, on these I actually tried your idea of loading the laces- On the second belly I loaded one strand of leaded line each. While it didn't hurt anything, it's hard to say with whips this short if it helped either. I'll try it again on a longer whip and see how it works.

Thanks to Bobbi, Ben, RObby, and Gio... I'v been doing two handed cracking for years, but I'm a slow learner- it's only been within the last year and a half or so that I've been able to do the volley staggered like that. I spend a lot more time making whips than cracking them :P I was watching some Ben Hughes and Adam Winrich videos recently, and I just don't see how they do some of those things...

Well I'm I impressed with the video, I can only sorta manage a cattleman's crack and an occasional overhead with the left hand.

Cool Tyler. I haven't gotten around to actually trying loading the laces myself yet. I have whip I started almost a month ago now that I need to finish. Once I sell that one I'll buy more supplies then maybe give it a try.

Nothing wrong with your two handed cracking, you're too humble.
Beautiful whips, and a little loaded as well, no doubt they get some good momentum.

Thanks Devin! If you want to get better with your left hand, what I do (this is hard but sometimes I force myself) is only practice with your left hand for awhile, and try and identify where your problems are. Then I'll do the same cracks I have left hand problems with right handed and try and figure out what I'm doing different. It helps if you have a large mirror or even a glass door on a sunny day- or the camera :) It's hard because it's more fun to crack right handed, but I want to be good with both.

Jonathan, as stated in our previous conversation, just one strand per lace! :) I thought it was going to turn out really lumpy but when I rolled that layer it smoothed out, so don't panic if it "bulks up" your lace at first.

Thanks Fritz! I was really impressed with how quickly you got good at two handed cracking- it made me feel slow :) You're right, they are like baby Bella and Lokai's!
