It looks like a nice stockwhip, Gio. On the pic - of course in real it can be a total different story - the connection between handle and thong, the keeper which comes from the thong looks like it's a bit too long. That would cause some kind of "shake" when the thong exceeds while cracking. What do you think?
I've found through trial and error (and keep in mind this is just my opinion) that for some reason a little slack in the thongs keeper doesn't seem to cause to much of a problem in the action of the whip.
However if the slack is in the handles keeper the action gets all out of wack.
Nice job Gio'

Hi Guys, i'm very glad you like these pictures :-)
here some technical details:
the thong is 6ft long plaited in 8 strands
the handle is not cane but timber and is 53cm long (20 inch)
the hole of the thong keeper is long about two fingers(index and middle finger togheter of my hand) 3,7cm.
These two fingers pass exactly through the hole of the thong keeper
I hope these information works well for you
All the best
