Stockwhip Handles and Introduction

Hello All! I stumbled upon this forum late last night and I think it is great! My name is Jeff and I am from Reno, NV. I got into making whips several years ago as a hobby. I have several made from "kits" and am trying to finish a stockwhip I cut from a kangaroo hide. I've also started a nylon bullwhip based on Noreast Whips instructions. Overall I have the basics down, but fine tuning the skills is needed. Thanks for the great site!

In an earlier post someone asked about where to get cane for a stockwhip handle in the United states. I found this place in Los Angeles. They have a pretty good variety and reasonable prices.

Hi Jeff,

and as the others wrote before... Welcome to our little place here. And yes, it is a unique place. It started like every other forum, and by the help and passion of great whip makers it turned out to be what it is now.

And thanks for the URL you posted - this site is based on giving an taking. Thanks again and - have a good time here!
