This is the Gallery of "Wolf Creek Whips" - Rachel McCollough

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

Mr. Robert, Ron ;) , Matt, Brandon, thank you :)

Bright and colorful yes, it was a lot of fun to plait. No trouble seeing where I was going like on a camo or solid black ;)
The more I looked at the colors the more I liked them, and they sound in the air :D

Roy & Ron thank you, yessir it was to me! I appreciate it.

Thank you Brandon, I hope to be sending several more that way over the years...

Roger Thank you, it's my larger TT core design with a 10 plait belly and 14 plait overlay. I know this design does very well for a single belly at 10', and would likely be quite fine though a little light at 12', but a regular TT core and 12 plait single belly I would probably not want to make longer than 8'.

Interesting. My 11' bull has a standard 4/3/2 TT core, a long 8 plt 1st belly and even longer 12-plt second. No idea if it's worked as I haven't cracked the damn thing yet. Still needs a fall, cracker and knots.

The transfer of energy in your whips is very, very good. The taper, the twisted fall and right into the tapered cracker. A wonderful smooth and consistent wave of cinetic energy that runs through unbraked into a clear and sharp crack. It's a joy to see your work.

Dannngggg that's pretty! I've never dealt with wood as a handle before, how heavy do those feel? :D

Thank you, Ron!

Brandon, Thanks, not very heavy (not like a steel handle).
The 6' is 13 oz. and the 40" is 11 oz.

They are too cool. I like the shorter one the most there is something about it that jumps out at me. Awesome job. I take it that you have made stock whips in the past?
