Roger, that is a nice looking whip.
I remove my reservations on the handle. It looks cool.
I would not have chosen the rose color but the charcoal is really nice.
Good job.

I've gotta say, that's the most unique handle and transition knot design I've ever seen on a whip O_O

Nice one, Roger, I admire your transition knot and the handle is pretty badass too!
I'm sorry it doesn't meet your standards on the stiffness though. Might I suggest an exowhips inspired outer carapace? I did that - a french vine - on a snake of mine that needed some weight and it did wonders.

That's (k)not a bad idea Erik. I might whip off that transition knot and replace with a longer TH.

Really well done Roger- Personally, I would keep it as a reference and to enjoy, and try for a stiffer transition on the next one, and then you'd be able to compare them.

Thank you Tyler. You've put in in perspective for me. That's what I'm going to do!

Roger that is a lovely looking whip, I particularly like the hint of colour in the start of the thong which quickly is dropped away, you don't see many whips with such a simple but so neat design.
I'm sorry that it doesn't meet your required stiffness, but as Tyler says, it will be a nice reference for future whips.

Thanks all for the compliments. Not being a 'seller' of whips really allows me to experiment and not panic if it all goes 'south'!

Man that is an awesome looking whip you are a natural artist the way that you were thinking outside the box on the handle design.

Wow Johnny, thanks <blushes>
I really just wanted to try something a little different.
