Just got back from Hobby Lobby.
The 40% off coupon sure took a lot off.
From $24.99(before taxes) down to a grand total of $16.23.
Thanks for that Tyler! :)
I had no idea that 10 lbs. would be that big.
It's about 19" X 12" X 1 1/2" .
I am a happy camper. :)

@ Ron May:

I am glad to hear that you now have all the needed paraffin to wax your whip and I wish you lots of fun cracking your whip after it has been waxed Sir!!!

Greetings Ben

Thank you Ben.
It'll be interesting to see how the wax changes the action.

Yay! Take pictures of the waxing!

I use a Giant roster pan for waxing. It easily has 30 lbs in it and isn't even half way full. But it will fit 6 whips.

Bobbi, I am going with a 22qt turkey roaster and I should have no problems with 10 lbs. of wax and being able to submerge the whip . Just need to find one that will work for me.
I will take some photos when it's time.

Today I'm working on the foundation for the heel knot.
I'm going to try to do the coin thing in the end. :)

Very nice Ron. Heel knot foundations always tend to be (one of) my weak point(s) :(

Roger, they are mine too.
Getting the correct size is one of the keys, and for me it's not easy.
I'm trying to figure out how to use David's TH-1 to do a 6x7 but it is confusing because it can go 4 or 8 evenly spaced out for the brights but it appears not for 6.

Ron,

I've posted this before but it is my go to video for a 5 x 4. He also shows how to raise it up to a 7 x 6. It's a simple vid and easy technique. Have a go.
