Another fine looking whip.
On your gallery Rachel, your images are starting to dissapear. I'm not sure what image Hosting service you are using, but even some of your more recent whips are vanishing

Thank you, Andrew. Yes sir one of my clients kindly let me know this a few days ago. I have swapped to Imgur now but it has taken me a bit to figure out how to use it.

I think Ethan's really going to enjoy that whip. I like the orange fall - it's a nice touch.

Excellent work Rachel,

the steer whip is very beautiful and I love the Amper Style Elite whips they look so elegant, especially with the leather wrapping at the handle, brilliant work!
Best wishes

Rachel, this is very impressive indeed!
Do you find ash a bit on the light side for a whip handle?

Three and a little more kangaroo hides from Mr. Simon Martin via Whip Nation (Thanks for excellent products, Roy!)
Stretching greased strands.
Edging strands.
Tie strands for a cow whip.
Twisted taper core.
Finished core.
Plaiting first belly, 6 plait.

This is beautiful! The grain is very nice and straight on that piece you have. Also as a side note, I really like your vise and stand, and am slightly jealous

I started collecting old blacksmith leg vises.

...and the finished belly.

...to be continued!...
Thanks, Ron! Mr. Robert, yessir I would prefer something heavier. The premise of this whip is to use kangaroo (solid kangaroo) and no binding with a twisted taper core and my way of joining each layer as well as the ash wood for the handle, while being as close as possible to a traditional leather cow whip with the available materials.
