Jyri, it does handle well! I'm sure you'll fix the appearance....

Jyri, it handles very well.
I've always been a believer of function over form. But once you get the function right the form can be tweaked.
Nicely done.

Jyri, I like the color scheme quite a bit. I'm sure it'll look good when you're done. Also, you should do a slow-mo of the little underhand move you did at 0:21 that caught my attention!

That looks prety good, Jyri, some Spanish ring knots should cover the exposed binding.

Aaand this build flyed to the back of my "unfinished whips" closed.
I made new thong.

This time i should get away with small turks head and some other knot.
It worked better than the last one.

In the next few days i should be able to finish it and wax it.

I like the pattern change in the handle, but must admit that I did not see it at first glance. Subtle, but a nice touch.

Thank you!
Scott it is a thing that have stuck on me. I think it started when i wached enough Rachels work. If i remember correctly i have done this with 2-4 last whip i have made.

Jyri, the gaucho braid is something I've been incorporating into my whips as well. I was also inspired by Rachel's and Gio's work. I hope they see it as flattery!
