Sir Roger, I'm finding the same thing with keeping the strands untangled. You can't really do it with the furious plaiting possible on short whips. You have to take your Tim and be more deliberate about how they're moved around.

Looking forward to see it complete!
I recently finished my first 11 foot build also. I know the pain in the beginning and how it eases up though towards the end!
Looking great! Would love to see it cracked.
