Very elegant, very eloquent plaiting! Precise and clean, this whip will go exactly where you tell it, I bet! Beautiful, comfortable, well placed knots (yes, it is no secret I love the knots!!!) Gio, outstanding work! I love the look of the Gaucho plaiting (it is very similar to a double stairstep?), the "V" of the plaiting runs around horizontally instead of the herringbone, where it runs vertically, I think. Very beautiful, Gio!!!!

Thank you so much Rachel for your feedback.
Re. "V" pattern you are right.

As i wrote asap, i'll post the sequence ;-)
Thanks again

Gio, thank you very much, that is very kind of you to take the time to share the sequence with us! It really is a classy whip- the details just placed perfectly, the taper is the Celeste taper.... It is beautiful business without being flashy. I really love it. Perfection, this is it. It's really outstanding.

Thank you for sharing Giovanni.

You work looks astoundingly as ever. Your plaiting is very smooth, very beautiful.
And I absolutely love the Gaucho plaiting.
I'd even go as far as saying that your work is inspirational, there's one photo which shows the plaiting very well and it inspires me to pay even more attention on my next whip (even though it be a nylon one)

If I'd ever get the change, I'd love to handle one of your whips. I'm quite young, but if I would make a bucketlist, that would be on it.

Like I said in the video on Giovanni's work - he's the best whip maker we have here in good old Europe.

Mr. Celeste, thank you very much for sharing pictures of the beautiful Gaucho whip and for sharing the plaiting sequence as well!
You are setting the bar very high when it comes to perfection which I find very inspiring (in my opinion your work is as close to perfection as it gets!)!

All the best
Ben

Hi Ben, thank you again for your kind words.
About the perfection, i'll create my aphorism sums up what I think about perfection.
You can also find it on the homepage of my website.
It says so:

"Perfection has to be sought never reached. This is the only way to inspire and motivate creativity".
