Sweet Jaysus that looks good. I've seen it done with leather whips but this is the first time (I think) I've ever seen someone do a colour change in nylon. Well done Brandon, you nailed it.

Thank you Bobbi and Matt! :D
Bobbi, I think when I get the chance, I'll perfect this method to create a really consistent fade~

Ok! So I've waxed the whip, here's a video of me testing it out :D

Annndd a little slo mo just to test out my phone's capabilities!

It cracks very similar to my other whips, which is quite surprising considering I didn't bind most of the belly (since I couldn't, due to this plaiting technique). ^_^

It looks like it handles nicely Brandon.
Good job.

Nice Brandon. Slow motion of a whip looks so cool.

Thanks Ron and Johnny!
Definitely, slo mo is really fun, but it does show you exactly what you're doing, including every flaw. Like when I move to do a underhand flick, I rotate my hand 90 degrees, and I'm not sure that's correct technique! :P

Brandon, this thing flows incredibly well. It looks really good. It's pretty cool that it pulls your eye out and let's you really see what the end of the whip is doing. It would be an awesome whip for performances.

Looking great, Brandon :). Exactly the kind of whip I'd want to handle, judging by how it performs in the video.

Thanks Jesse and Matt! I actually made this for that purpose, just to see whether it'd be really cool for performances :D
