I'll definitely be using lighter handles in the future, I've had a play with these and they tire me out just like the bullwhip, but with the action of a stockwhip haha

Yeahhh I was actually just testing them out in that video, so I wasn't sure whether they worked yet! XD

James, you either want a roaster/cooker, or a double boiler to melt the wax. Don't do what I once did and melt it over a fire cause I almost set my backyard on fire! Was great fun though, was in a call and had to be like "well uh...something in my backyard just caught on fire, I'll have to call you back" :P

Thank you Roy! They do crack well, though flicks require a bit more work than I'm used to (though that might be cause the handle's so heavy), but redirecting cracks feel so nice!

Just looking through old threads for ideas, nice work Brandon. How are they breaking in? With the lettering did you braid it in or use the spiral technique?

Looks very nice - yes there is a twist - but huge credits for making such a complicated pattern on the handles. I tried my first patterns yesterday, and failed miserably - ending up with at lot of svearing and starting over again before i came to the conclusion that november is not my moth to start fance plaiting

@Charlie - they're breaking in well, though because my handles are steel, it requires much more effort to crack than it should. Next time I'll be using fibreglass, but for now these are great to show off a tiny bit of double whip cracking In terms of the fancy plaiting, I used braiding as my technique, as it allows me to check and correct any lack of tightening. I also tend to free-hand the fancy plaiting now, as it allows me to check all sides easily.

@Morten - Damn, that sucks! Did you use the spiral or braiding method? I use this awesome website - http://whipinfo.com/fancy/ - to help me with my designs And thank you!! I can't wait until I get to do awesome routines with two whips, my left hand feels so awkward and scary :O
