  Cow Whip by Roy Partin

Post by Robby Amper »

.

Time to reveal the newest WB video secrets ;) I received a 10 foot whip, made by Roy Partin. Very heavy, very loud and very well (!) made. At the moment I don't have pictures, but they'll come together with the video, soon. I just wanted to tell you - especially those of you, who are interested in slow running whips (Robert - that whip is exactly what you're looking & waiting for!) will more than enjoy it. It's very hard not to have a crack with Roy's whip... The handle is 16 inches and made from a beautiful wood. That it'll be for the moment. Because if I tell more details, no one will look at the video, when it's released :)

I'm also planning on a video introduction on Jonathan's hand made fids. Actually they're on the way to me and I'm waiting every day for them to be here, but the ways of god and the postal authorities... Well. I'm convinced that Jonathan should sell these fids online. And the video will help him, I guess. To be honest - I love these fids. So - please - don't expect a critical comment in the video, okay? :D

The film on Roy's whip should be done and released within the next two weeks. The film on the fids is depending on how long it'll take to have them here. So I can't give you even an estimate. Sorry.

Ooh! I look forward to the pictures, Roy's previous work certainly speaks very highly. I expect it is a joy to watch it move, and gracefully so?

Thank you for your support Robby! I hope the new fids get to you soon. I have a batch of 10 more in the works that should be done in a few weeks.
I look forward to seeing the videos, and am particularly excited to see Roy's work reviewed because I have a particular love of whips made for real daily ranch work.

The primary shooting on Roy's whip is done. Now it's on the fine tuning. Some pick ups, reshots and so on. But I can say that it won't take two more weeks. With a little luck it'll be online by end of the next week.

And...the fids are here! Great, great, great! We'll start on the production design on monday. First idea for a release: Two weeks. We'll see. These fids are really cool, no doubt. But there's one thing I don't like. One thing, I'm not too happy, with. Just wait until the vid's released - then you'll know everything.

I'm looking forward to seeing the videos Robby. I know Roy's whip will be great.
Also, knowing you, "One thing I'm not too happy with" can either be a bit of constructive criticism, or just a straight up compliment. Either way, I look forward to finding out what it is.
And Thank you Tyler, I'm happy you like it!
