Prices & Winners - 2018

Well... We have an annual whip lottery, in which everybodey can participate. And the money for the tickets goes - exactly; to the doggies. And to avoid any possible "misunderstandings" - with an official contribution receipt...!

I'm so excited! I got Jyri's whip unexpectedly in the mail today. I have been tracking it since last week and it has really made good time, but the last time I checked it didn't look like it was going to get here until tomorrow at the earliest. But it is here and I interrupted my water heater repairs to play with it and take some videos.

Jyri, it is beautiful, I love the color and especially the brass concho, and the red crackers. The plaiting is perfect, no gaps and very straight. the knots look great and the heel knot is exactly the right size for my hand, it feels very comfortable and I feel like I have very good control with it. I am thrilled to own this whip. Last year I joined too late to get in on the raffle and so have been looking forward to this one for the whole year. It was definitly worth the wait. Thank you, Jyri for making such a great whip for the doggos.

Here's the videos, I am still a pretty crummy whip handler so any missed cracks are my fault, not the whip's, it is perfect.

Mark, it look like it handles very nicely.
A little audio description on the other one would have been nice. But a very nice looking whip.

It is Sheila's cat, she is not nearly as bright as Russell's dog (the cat, Sheila is quite bright, except for that bit 33 years ago). She didn't get hit, just close.

So glad it arrived safely! And how it moves in your hands. From the way you were doing those slower forward flicks I think I managed to bui!d the whip I hoped it would be. Do please let me know your thoughts after you've used it a bit.

Sven, the whip you shipped arrived this morning.

I was mowing the yard, and when it arrived I had to give it a couple of cracks .... I am very pleased in how it handled. It cracks very well indeed.

You have to see this one to really appreciate the expert plaiting and the straightness of the seams. The transition knot and the heel knot are super.

I will post pics and perhaps a video when I have the time.

Thank you Sven for your whip donation. I really like it and that's only after about 10 cracks of varying flavors.
Well done.

Wow Ron, thank you very much for your kind words.
And I believe you mean them :)

I looked at the tracking this morning and it was still on "arrived at destination country". So, I was very suprised by your post.

But thank you, that's a real relieve of my shoulders :).

I got Ethan's whip yesterday and it cracks splendidly! I was going to take pictures this morning but had a problem with my contact lenses that made me really late, so I will get some pics tonight. Thank you Ethan!
