Ethan, very good job, I'm looking forward to see the finished whip!

If you want to see in advance how colors will change by waxing them, you can simply soak a sample string in water.

Ethan, I highly endorse Ben's suggestion.
It's the only way to figure out how your cord will react to waxing.
It's also a good way to figure out the shrinkage as well.
Measure the cord, and do that again after waxing, you'll have an answer.

Unlike people not all cord is created equal.

Working on whip #23, a 4’ 12plait snake whip to go with that red knob I turned. I need to redo the half finished overlay because I dropped too soon and have some ugly gaps going on. The overlay will be in solid imperial red.
