2017 - Mission Accomplished

Well... We have an annual whip lottery, in which everybodey can participate. And the money for the tickets goes - exactly; to the doggies. And to avoid any possible "misunderstandings" - with an official contribution receipt...!

  2017 - Mission Accomplished

Post by Robby Amper »

Today I received the donation receipt from the Dog shelter. It says exactly 800 Euro and 44 Cent. It wouldn't have been a problem, to just send 800 bucks, but I wanted to show clearly - to everybody - that all the money went to the shelter. Every single Cent.

So I officially declare the Whip Basics donation campaign 2017 closed. We did a great job, folks. The smallest whip group ever - and we managed to make a huge amount of money for the doggies. Perhaps we can be an example for all the other groups, which are 100 times bigger than we are.

Well done, Whip Basics!
I'll give it a try, Dad, but it's going to be really hard...kind of like trying to saw something in half using a banana.

Me too Jyri :)

I also wish Germany was as accessible as I would like. It would be great to join the lads for a laid back weekend :)

I'm working on it... buying a Lotto ticket this weekend ;)

That is the most important thing ever! If it's 5.00 Euro, 100.00 Euro or 10 Cent. People send me money. By doing this, they send me much more than only money. They trust in me. My personal honor and integrity is - to me - worth more than a whole lot of money. And so is the trust of the members in me. When I say that all the money will be with that shelter, every single Cent will go there. Every now and then other members of the forum send me money for the shelter. I add a little bit by myself and send it to them.

To know that all those good people trust in me make me proud. At least a little bit :)

I think that's the right kind of thing to be proud of.
The Legend should be proud of that.
Just ask Falco. I think Falco would agree.
