How much description does it take, when the whole thing is called "Movies", hm...?

Tyler, when you see the dinosaurs, please try talking them into adapting. :)
And tell them when they see the meteor not to waste time making a wish on it..... RUN.

Ummm...Ron? I'm not sure that dinosaurs adapting and sticking around would work out so well for us...
I'll give it a try, Dad, but it's going to be really hard...kind of like trying to saw something in half using a banana.

It's more reliable.
But they never said what powered it, did they?

Ron
Well, at least it didn't run out of fuel, that for sure :)

Obviously, the crystal handle...and the turny disk thing. My guess, it was much like a hybrid car. The crystal power got the disk turning and once the disk got turning, it was able to take over. Everyone knows lead crystal is crazy powerful, but the power efficiency sucks--thus the disk. Remember how in the beginning of the movie, he took the handle out and fine-tuned it on the grinder one last time before getting in? um hm...

German technology. The tube right under the seat - a "Presswellen getriebener Saugnapf Induktor". And a liiiiiiittle bit of movie magic. And Tyler - sure, no problem. But...you know the movie: "The sound of thunder", right? It shows clearly what happens, if someone travels back in time and squashes even one single insect. We need to be really cautios back then...

Robby, the thought of a "Presswellen getriebener Saugnapf Induktor" is quite wonderful! :)

Ron, I don't think Robby has any more idea than you do - but perhaps I do him an injustice. He is The Doctor, after all! :)

It really makes no difference what it is, since all it ever was made for was to make the yellow light flicker. Honestly people..

OOPS! there went civilization. Remember the episode of Star Trek Generations where Q takes Picard back in time to where 2 cells combine and human civilization starts? One misstep and there you go!

Ron, to be honest I hadn't considered the possibilities of a bacon, cheese, brontoburger. We might have to fire up some caveman charcoal. I was a bit more concerned with the possibilities of evisceration by some of toothier dinosaurs, but I'm sure if we offered the choice between human tartare or a nice brontoburger (especially with bacon) the odds may be much more in our favor!
