My recent practice sessions went well. It still happens that I mess up the last two swivels but at least it's not as bad as it used to. I still have to focus on beeing patient with the second swivel, which shows me that I'm still far away from "doing it right by nature", but I know that this will get better over time.
Happy cracking everyone!
All the best

Ben, "not being as bad as it used to" is good progress.
You are doing very good and reaping the harvest of your patient and dedicated practice.
It won't be very much longer before all the moves will be second nature to you.
Very good job.

It's ok if you disagree with me.

I haven't been able to shoot a video of my practice during the last couple of days and I apologize for not having posted a new video so far!
Every time we (me and my wife) went outside to shoot a video it started to rain and we had to practice without filming.
Overall I'm still not getting constant results with this exercise - some sessions had been good, some not so good. I'll keep practicing this combo in addition to the new 20/20 excercise and I'll post a new video soon.

Ben & Sven, Well done with your efforts. Pleasing to see and the improvements you made. I found doing the second crossover with the opposite hand hard to nail. I'll need more practice with that one.
I love the swiveling hand method, This challenge helps me realize the importance of feeling and executing what the whip wants to do.
I still have a lot more practice to do before I get this challenge. I'm uploading a video now. I'm hoping the rain will ease again later so I can try again.

Not too shabby Russel.
I think if you use more arm on the reverse cattleman's it might work out better.
It appears that you are trying to bring your 'hand' almost straight up and looping it backward then forward underhand to make the crack. Like in the fast 8.
Look how the cattleman's crack looks when you do it forward and make the reverse crack a mirror image of it only behind you.
All in all a very nice job.
Keep up the good work.

Hi all, I've been doing some more practice today on Lesson II.
I tried to improve on things and put more arm into the reverse cattleman's crack.
Have a good evening

Russel, I can see some real good improvement in the reverse crack.
Robby once advised me not to watch the whip but feel it. To look forward at the horizon point.
It helped me feel what to do when it needed doing.
If that makes any sense ?
I liked the crossover drill you were doing , one right after the other.
Good job.
