The Cairo Crack from 3/17/17 to 3/26/17
My practice today was a little bit better. It seemed more consistent.
When I waxed the twins yesterday I also waxed Zombie Bumble Bee for the first time after a year and a half. It did help marginally so maybe that might have helped a smidgen.
It did improve it's performance a slight bit but not enough to change it's name.

It's ok if you disagree with me.

Practacing this crack is so much fun - I've been having many days of stickpractice because of the stormy weather and couldn't wait to practice the Cairo crack outside.
It first fealt kind of strange to stop the downward motion at 3 o'clock but I'm getting more and more used to it.
I wasn't able to shoot a video yet but I'll be shooting a video of tomorrows practice.
All the best
Ben

Good Morning chaps, and hello Ben! It feels like it has been a while!
I got out and did some practice today, unfortunately too we to break out the Doom whip but hopefully this thread will remain open after the 10 days is up
I feel like I am as about as good as I am going to get with this one in the short term.... without meticulously picking apart every little thing to the bone and stitching it back up anyway.
This one was fun! Looking forward to the next challenge

Russell, that looks (to me, at least) remarkably like the scene in Raiders. Well done!
I wonder if your dog circles round and barks simply to join in the fun. At first I though he was objecting, but I rather think he's just 'helping'! The fact that he's wagging seems to show he's enjoying himself....

That looks excellent Russell .
Finally, the weather's been good enough to get out and take a video, so here's my video submission:

Here's the video for day one.

Here's the day ten comparison video.

It's a little improvement and I'm glad about that but it still doesn't look like the scene in the movie. The whip just sort of goes around my body instead of high behind me. I don't know if that's ok or not.
There's still a lot of refinement to do.

Matt, to make a video that's easier to see what's going on better, let the light source be in front of you in stead of behind you. The back lighting makes it a little hard to see what you're accomplishing.
But it's a good job. You are definitely getting the hang of it for sure.

Hi guys, thanks for the comments. This one was good fun
Hey Matt, nice whip cracking! Thanks for sharing your clip. I know it can be hard sometimes to get the right angle.
I could see enough to notice you have very good foundations in good technique
Always a pleasure to watch your videos too Ron
Cheers
