We have a lot of the same interests. I'm gonna have to break out some of my Nunchaku and get reacquainted after I watch these videos. Mr Robby are you familiar with the new style , I think they call them speed chucks and, if so what do you think about them? I couldn't seem to get used to the shorter distance between the two sticks.

Well, new style... Actually those things are old in the meantime. Some people just try to sell old brooms as new. They call those things "Speed Chucks", you're right. But those are only for show. They are incedibly fast. That's all. On the YouTube page I was asked in a comment, why I use those slow Nunchaku, instead of the so more fast Speed Chucks. I replied that he should be so kind and read the title again: Nunchaku Basics. Beginner... He never answered.
Trust me, Johnny - if you feel safe and good with your old Nunchaku, then keep using it. When you're out in the wood for two weeks. What kind of knife would you choose? A fancy looking one, you can perform fast knife spinning routines with, or a heavy, solid one you can chop wood with?
That is the answer.
Yod...Robby
