This is the Gallery of "Gator Whips" - Roy Partin

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

Beautiful work, Mr. Partin!
The grain of the handle looks phenomenal and it works very well with the yellow color of the thong!

All the best

Thanks Roy. Now I am confused due to missing knowlegde. The handle us 17 inches - ok., but are the length of the whip measured including or excluding the handle, when the thong can be changed?

Flemming, I think Cow whips are like stock whips in that the thong is all that is measured when talking about the length.

I am thrilled you chose yellow. I have wanted to build with that color for a while. It looks really great with that handle.

Thanks my friends. Not a fan of yellow, but this combo works.
Flemming, Mark is correct. Cow whips are measured from the handle to the end of the twist.
Mark thanks for explaining that.

Roy, the yellow and the wood really complement each other. My first thought was I bet that stings like a yellow jacket. It makes for a very good start to the new year.
I'll give it a try, Dad, but it's going to be really hard...kind of like trying to saw something in half using a banana.

Looks great Roy! The dark wood goes well with the bright yellow.

I really like that! Everyone's right Roy, the handle does look great with the yellow thong.
