Ron, you are such an inspiration. To be out cracking so soon after surgery and to look so relaxed while doing it... :D

The Victorian Cutback always takes me by surprise!

Good to see you cracking already but as said: do take it easy on yourself!

Thank you Erik. I am going to take it easier now.
That little demo and the practice leading up to it did kind of wear me out a little.

Good going Ron, you have control over the whip, and you're certainly relaxed.
Nice to see you're up and at it. Thanks for sharing, you're an inspiration to us all.

More understatement! For goodness sake, Ron, take care! You've had major surgery!

A little more practice on this glorious day
Taking the good advice and practicing the basic ones.
This time the cattleman's crack.
The goal being to use as little energy as possible to complete the crack with positive results. ( "CRACK")

Hello Cowboy!

Look at all that warm sunshine...and green. I think you need to come up here and find out what winter is all about. We have cold advisories all week this week. Maybe I will do a video of freezing stuff.

You look like you feel good after your hospital stay. I think your cattleman's looks perfect. :) Keep it up Hello Cowboy :)

Jessie, as much as I would enjoy visiting you and your family I dislike cold and snow / ice equally as much.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I still believe it can be improved though.
Robby said to concentrate on the basics and that's what I am doing. It's good advise.

Ron, Jessie's right. That looks great!

If I have one (hopefully helpful) comment, it is this: be careful not to let your elbow move out sideways. Don't hold it rigid, just relax it to the point where it doesn't 'flop about'. This will be important when you speed up....
