This little guy is being raffled off this weekend at the annual Chisolm Trails Chuckwagon cook off. I usually don't get many opportunities to build sporty shorties so I jumped on it this time. Its five feet 12 plait in black/white. Core is 18" of BB's. I tried something different by ending in a 4 point fall hitch with a 15" twisted fall. I am very happy with the results.
Now, see, I wish I could get my 8-6-4 drops to look like that. There's always a little kink where each drop occurs. Nothing like that anywhere on your whips. So jealous.
This thing looks great. I've never done a black and white whip before. Whomever gets this one will be a happy camper for sure.
Very nice. Somebody will be real happy to get this whip!
Here's wishing you find time for the things you want to do, and for the things you need to do.
We see ourselves in our children and hope for a better future.
Golly, Roy, that is absolutely gorgeous!!!! You set the bar higher each time!!!! So smooth taper and plaiting, and fancy pattern work in the thong... That is too cool. Wow.
That looks superb Roy.
Really quite special looking in those colours.
The twisted fall is something I am going to have to look into as that looks so different too.
It just looks so clean and crisp and quick like a fencing sabre. Not gonna lie though, I kept thinking that maybe there was an actual small cow in one of the pictures and I'd missed it.
Thanks Craig, Bobbi and Mr Robert. Mr Robert we have high ceilings but I usually end up smacking the ceiling fan at least once when I am breaking Lindsay's "no cracking in the house" rules.

Haha! Efren, perhaps this could be a new model for me. The little whip for little cows
