Oh, Jesse- it's just possible that's too awesome to be legal! I'm another huge minion fan, and Kiley and I have had plans for months to go see the Minion movie next weekend :) I think cartoons on TV have gone way down- they're off my radar. But for movies, I think the best comedies are all animated. In fact, I can't remember the last time I watched a live action comedy. I'd take Minions over Adam Sandler any day of the week :)

The Minions are the inner child, they're able to sabotage the system.

José, I love that! That is so true! They indeed do sabotage the system... Somehow, like confetti thrown into the air, there's always a bunch to clean up later- but they make the party so much more fun! :D
Love that drawing!

Wonderful news that the donations have reached over 600 Euros, I am glad to see that the doggies will benefit.

The minions are a favorite of mine as well, adorable and chaotic but undoubtedly hilarious. I was unaware there was a Minions only movie coming, sounds promising.

Awesome, Roy. I've never tried a cow whip before, but if it looked like that, I sure would give it a shot.

Thanks a bunch fellas. Devin, sorry I was in a mad rush earlier and didn't post any specifics. The wood is a 15" piece of Goncalo. Its 7 ft 16 plait in acid brown. It ends in a 6 plait point with a twisted fall which was something new for me. I also took this opportunity to try the double strand drops again. Overall its a close representation of my typical working whips. Its heavy and good for single cracks and targeting

Roy, That is beautiful, beautiful. I like the twisted fall, it's a little beefier looking and matches the whip better, that's just beautiful work.

Splendid, Roy! Not just beautiful, but - done so quickly and confidently - the work of a great craftsman. As Tyler says, the dogs will really appreciate it! :)

Roy, amazing as always! I sure do love your handles.

So, I just got an email from Topher. Here is a copy-

"Hey Bobbi,

Just got Robby's email. I'm not upset about him being "done with me", as it is to be expected. Just wanted to give you a heads up that the whips for the lottery have been done for months. I emailed him some time ago to let him know of that but I guess he never received it. That is neither here nor there at this point. But the whips are ready to shipped when ever just let me know the ship has sailed or not.

On another note, while moving these last few weeks I found the cow whip you loaned me! I totally forgot I had it. Will be heading into town next Monday and will drop it in the mail back to you. My absolute apologies for being an ass... hopefully I didn't ruin a good friendship with you. Either way I wish you the best :-)

Topher "

I know the kid has really had a string of bad luck lately. I'm really sorry he isn't here anymore because I think we could give support.
