So together, here a picture of my personally and spontaneous "Let's save a few lives" initiated campaign in my company:
A collection box placed near a coffee machine in the meeting area for employees and visitors to make donations! ;-)
I too have taken the liberty, to paint a picture for the lottery, under the motto: WB "Let's save a few lives"...

Hey Gang,
missed me? I sure missed you guys a lot.
It's been an emotional rollercoaster for me, that's all I want to say for now. But I'm fine, just really busy with a lifestyle that dictates me to hurry up and wait, which is a bit draining.
I've not been much of a socialite, so I've been home a lot, so to keep me from going crazy I did this:
I want to donate it to the cause if it's not too late. It took a day and a night to make and it's my best work yet.
I haven't decided whether I want to try and get a wooden handle or to put heel knot on it to make it a snake.
But if you'll have it, I'm happy to donate it to the cause.
It's a 180cm 16 Plait Coral Snake, no bolster, just a lot of binding

Hope evryone's well

Mr. Ehlers... What can I say? You did not offer to make a whip for the auction. That means you never missed a deadline. And that means: Of course it's not too late! The problem we had was on the deadline for the official lottery. But - like I said - you never said anything, so you never missed any deadlines. I am glad to see you back again. In fact it's very good to see you again.
Your donation (PayPal) worked perfect - you sent it in Euro and so there was no single Cent in fees! So I will put you o0nto the list as buyer of tickets and donator of a whip! Welcome back, Fritz.

Thanks everyone,
glad I'm not too late, it suddenly dawned on me that this years action for our furry friends was due.
Wouldn't want to miss it. Good people doing good things, and although I haven't been on here for a while I think about it a lot, hence the whip, ...
I'd like to put a wooden handle on it, I've got the strands off the heel to tie it, but I don't have the tools or the timber to turn a handle,... I'll come up with something.
The whip was inspired by a 12 strand coral I saw on Rhett's site with a dark wooden handle, and the technique is a little bit of everyones on this forum. From Core construction and binding to dropping strands and plaiting. The Core is a strand or paracord with 4mm bbs two thirds of the way and then 3.5 mm to not quite the end.
This was then fed through another strand of cord, and then bound for the first eight to ten inches from the heel. Then the first belly and a lot of binding, and another and another, then the overlay.
