Very beautiful and shiny Einar. I'm sure they perform excellent also. Is a latigo whip relatively heavier than other leather whips?

In my experience Latigo whips are heavier than f.e. Roo, but I always liked the feeling. Anyway, Einar will give you much more detailled info on that.

I like Einar's work with Latigo. You see a lot of Latigo whips out there, but his look very slick.
Love the Heel knots on the whips too they look like they fit well in the hand.

Fritz, I've got one of Einar's whips - a nylon 8-footer. You're quite right: the heel knot fits in the hand very well indeed! I much admire his work in latigo.

A latigo whip will be heavier than a whip constructed out of roo, and thank you Roy, Fritz and Robert for the comments.

Howdy Einar, I really admire your work, especially the Latigo whips, Sooo elegant!
As an artist who works in both mediums (3 counting the fire whips) do you have a preference??
Thanks for sharing, ~Guy~

First thank you for the kind words. I do have a love for latigo or cowhide in general I have always loved working with it ever sense I first started making whips.

I haven't posted anything here for a while so here we go. This is an 8 foot two belly nylon bullwhip with a 16 plait overlay in black and neon yellow it finishes in a six plat point.

That's great, Einar! As Roger says, no one's going to miss that!

Since I have one of your nylon 8-footers in my collection (bought, I blush to say, through eBay!) I have no doubt that this, too, handles with ease and precision. I really like your weight distribution!

The secret of Einar's whips is in the handles. Einar's handle design is simply perfect. I don't know what and how he is doing it, but he gives his handles a shape that makes them fit into your hand like they were molded to fit in. When I did the review on his work, you can see in the target part how exact his whips are https://youtu.be/r_bVItoQnuw
