Hi Pokkis, I have had to go to Cape Town to meet with funders and my bosses, which means I won't be checking my post box soon. After my work trip to CT we will be staying with my wife's family till the new year. Thus I won't know I received anything till I get back home...

Hi all... I got home this weekend and checked my post box. I still don't have any notification that there is a parcel at customs. However I am neither concerned nor surprised by this. Our customs are notoriously slow here and it has been the festive season which gives lazy people an excuse to be extra lazy! I am simply letting you all now the status quo... It's very possible the whip is at the bottom of a very dark container somewhere that is being processed by the least interesting individual your imagination could conjure. The Dwarf dopey had more motivation and work ethic than a South African Customs official.

And this is what it looks like in the end.

Unfortunately one of the whips was never delivered, due to something happening to Taylor.

Jeff was so far left without his prize, but that is something to be corrected. I have had a private conversation with one member of the Whip Swap team already and there indeed is will to correct this. If any of you wish to contribute on the damage control, please toss me a private message and we'll go through what kind of surprise(s) to fix up for Jeff. No one will be left empty handed.

It is not acceptable that Jeff didn't receive his whip. But I'm sure we will find a way to fix that.

Aaaaand - a big, huge and giant "Thank you!" to Pokkis. He organized everything, took care for all participants and had a lot of work behind the curtain, no one could see. He did a fantastic job with the 2015 whip swap and we all should be grateful.

So... Thank you, Pokkis. You did a great and wonderful job!

There was work involved, but I enjoyed every moment. I would be happy to do it all over again any time.

And that's true, there's no scenario where this will end without Jeff getting what's his and then some. Actually I have an idea for a decent reward, but I'll ask around before declaring it. Jeff, you just might be getting something pretty unique.
