Re: The "Making of" Gallery - Rachel McCollough

Rachel, this is amazing.

Your plaiting and designs have certainly gained power with every new whip you make.

You're going to have to put some lead window weights on it when you set it down, because this whip is going to want to crack itself.

I know of someone living in the north east part of England and a guy with a southern Texas drawl that would love to crack this one.
A slow graceful whip that cracks with ease is like a work of art and this whip will live up to that for sure.

Yesterday I spotted an albino dalmatian.
It was the least I could do for him.

Wow Rachel, I find it absolutely mind-blowing how straight your plaiting is. And overall it looks just wonderful. Thanks for sharing!

I love this!

Why did she fall? Her mass distorted space-time to produce the effect we know as gravity...

Re: The "Making of" Gallery - Rachel McCollough

Mr. Robert, I’m pretty excited to finish it and hear it crack, and really look forward to seeing the heel treatment and how it’ll all come together.
Thank you smile

Thanks, Scott!

Julia, thank you very much!  I always try to show things how they are (like the picture where you can see a small twist at the heel, although it will be covered), and not only how I would like them to be.

Rachel - I thought that you had specialized in your style of paracord plaiting. This whip looks "awful" fine smile

Some day we must have a conversation on how you build them smile

Today is a good day

Flemming, thank you!  I’m still learning in both nylon and roohide, and I sure do like both!

Here is an update on this whip.  I’ve been gone to work at my other job quite a lot, but still making some progress!

Beatiful work Rachel! Clever use of the antler.

Jyri's right - the antler is a nice touch. Well done!
