Re: The "Making of" Gallery - Jessie Edwards

I typically don't like patterned cords either, but I do agree that this whip turned out very nicely.  Well done!

Jessie - If  those whips cracks like the others you have made (for me and Gitte) the customers will be very satisfied.

By the way, Gitte is getting used to the donation whip from 2018 and if by now her preferred whip smile. I shall send the best wishes from her.

Today is a good day

Re: The "Making of" Gallery - Jessie Edwards

Thanks all.  Flemming, this whip is built like the donation whip.  My customer has heart issues, so the weight makes sense for her, I think

Jessie - She will be happy with it. Gitte is more fond of the new construction than for the construction of the 5 ft. practical whip.

Re: The "Making of" Gallery - Jessie Edwards

That whip is a typical Jessie Edwards whip. And it is great! Jessie has her very own „handwriting“. I love the color. I don‘t know why, but this combination - together with the end plate in the heel - it makes a real difference. From the picture I think, that the handle design would make that whip a veeeery good target whip. With that double grapevine the whip will rest in your palm like glued into your hand!

I love the metallics. Sparkles are fun.  I'm a girl, you men can deal.  6 foot 12 plait.  My second taper twist.  It's very stiff.  Of course it's a billion below 0 out there today.  I was only able to snap off a few pictures before my fingers fell off.  I foresee more fun to be had when it warms up and I can break this thing in proper.  Also, there is no transition knot.  We all know my love for the knots.  I resisted this time and went for a sleek snake motif.

Thanks.  I'm still coming to terms with the naked transition.  It feels empty to me

The itty bitty *HedgehogWhip.  A child's whip that is 4 feet total length in a *Hedgehog theme.
I have learned that binding makes these little guys really stiff, but I know when it get's used, it will loosen up.  It being winter isn't helping either I suppose.

The core and belly:

My customer wanted *the Hedgehog in the heel.  While I wouldn't normally do this, It was for a little girl's first whip ever.  I vectored a picture of Mr. Hog and sized it for the heel just for her.

And the final pictures aren't as nice as usual because of the snow.  I just can't get out there with my camera right now.
