Wow!
I really like the action on a big “lazy” whip. You throw the loop and just wait for it to get to the end. That’s REALLY cool to see. Thank you for going back and finding that video.

Matthew, I too like long 'lazy' whips very much indeed. As Roy says, they feel like an extension of one's arm - and, once you get them going, you just wait. Then - BAM!

Wolfgang, I'm out of practice at this, and I dare say Roy is much better, but I used to be able (thirty years ago!) to cut leaves off a tree pretty accurately with my 12-foot David Morgan Indy whip.  smile

Another thing for my to-do list: target work with the overhand flick smile
I have yet only managed to hit chosen leaves with a 6 foot Nylon whip with the standard forward/cattleman‘s crack.
