Hi everyone
Could not resist makeing some videos in the fine weather. The training did not go very well, but now we both have a whip we did have a lot of fun :
You don't have to comment on the videos from today. They are mostly just to show you a little fun from the Garden
It looks like you are having a lot of fun!!!
It's looking better Flemming.
Keeping the vertical plane on the fast 8 is a little difficult for me and it's also very important for me to keep that in mind.
The reverse cattleman's crack, I have found, needs more arm movement behind me to make it easier and to flow a little bit better. For me that's not always so easy to do.
The cross over is looking very nice. It's what I have had a lot of trouble with. Yours is looking good.
Thanks for posting the video.
Ron
Thanks Ron. Comments are always usefull. I have printet some of them so it is easyer for me to find them regulary and read before I practice.
Flemming, your video shows that you are making a very good progress!
Congratulations and thank you for sharing!
There is not much that I could add to Ron's advice except for one thing: if you try to look at the "horizon" throughout your practice sessions, you will develop a feeling for the whip much faster than if you keep on looking on the thong on certain occasions.
Robby made a video about this subject:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pc7xh5NNn4c
At first, you will have to focus on looking at the horizon, but after a couple of sessions, it will become second nature to you.
All the best
Ben
Thanks Ben. Your comments is of great value to me. maybe you have to tell me several times, but it is not because I am not listening. It is just like teaching anything else. Repetition, repetition, repetition.
Thanks Ben
I don't really know where to post a video that just shows what I am working on, when it don't fall into a special category.
The case is, that I recieved my new 5 ft. Zorro-style whip from Giovanni Celeste today and I was surprised how it behaved in my hand. I have never managed to do the overhead cracks (overhead FF8) and a combination, where the VC are included.
This is my second try with the brand new whip and the first and only shoot. It is very hard cold outside today so Gitte didn't like to stay out longer.
I think, I will enjoy this whip, but see for yourself:
Flemming - you make it look so effortless. My only real question is how is your grass already so green when it's still snowing?
Craig - there is not much grass in it. It moss due to the wet weather and it kill's the grass,so we are fighting it from the beginning of may.
And thank you by the way
Looking good, Flemming!
Flemming, that new whip looks wonderful - and your form is improving, too! Congratulations!
Well. Here are my newest attempt (almost same contest in both video's) :

That looks like a very good session - congratulations Flemming!
All the best
Ben
Thank you Ben. I am happy that you are back. I miss your comments.
All the best
Flemming
Step by step, as the french say You‘re improving, Flemming. Just keep on practicing. I can see some little points we have to talk about when you are here for the WB meeting. To show and explain to you in person is way easier than to type all of this. But you will see that you are going to make a huge leap forward. Trust me...
Robby
Dear Robby. After such a beautiful whip-cracking-day as today, there is nothing I wish more than meeting the Legend "in Person" and learn. That will be the top, and I am so honored to have this opportunity.
And yes - I will keep on practicing so more videos to come in this thread
Keep up the good work, Flemming.
