Here is the latest whip. It's an 8-foot, 16-plait cow whip with 2 bellies, a TT core, a 24-inch fall, and an 8-inch B55 cracker. The colors are midnight blue and electric blue. The setup is all midnight blue on the left side and alternating MB and electric blue on the right. I used single diamond plait, gaucho plait and herringbone plait. also a couple of short sections of bands to break up the herringbone a bit

Another great whip, Mark.
The grain and color of the handle is so beautiful.
The handle does look a little thick or bulky. But that might be the camera.
Very nicely done.

It's ok if you disagree with me.
I can't force you to be right.
Ron, you have a good eye for detail, sir. I left the lip of the cup a little thicker on this one. A rather large chunk split off the last 3 inches of that end as I was forming the initial cup and I was afraid that if I tapered it as much as I usually do, it would split under the stress of cracking the whip. And, the camera angles do make it look a bit thicker than it actually is.
