First Build in a While
It has been quite a while since I had the chance to get another whip build in, and I'm really proud of how this one came out.
Added a few diamond plait sections as well as some birds eye on the thong of this whip. It really adds something to it.
I also added a leather ferrule which I tooled and painted with the logo for the customer's daughter's college.
Lastly, because Washburn University is in Topeka, Kansas, I used a Kansas state quarter in lieu of a concho on the heel of this whip.

Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates.

Thanks Mark. I enjoy blending my hobbies like that.
I should mention, the top picture was before I rolled it. I ended up rolling it, coiling it and putting it in a box. I took the pics at 4:15ish and UPS picks up from my job at around 4:00, so I rolled it, and then rushed to get it boxed up and ready to go, totally forgetting to take a picture after it was rolled.

Thanks Wolfgang. I was a little nervous about the color combination at first, but I am really happy with how it looks. And it does look even better in person. I have three more builds to get done by the end of the month (maybe four if I think I can squeeze it in). That one I have to do some research for though.
