Money. 2018. Mission accomplished.

Well... We have an annual whip lottery, in which everybodey can participate. And the money for the tickets goes - exactly; to the doggies. And to avoid any possible "misunderstandings" - with an official contribution receipt...!

  Money. 2018. Mission accomplished.

Post by Robby Amper »

Jessie has sent me all the money from the PayPal account to me. And I transferred it to my bank account. And tomorrow - monday - I will transfer the whole amount to the dog shelter. It is in total 672.39 Euro. Or 778.06 US Dollar. The strange numbers result from the fact, that some some of you sent their donation in USD and others in Euro. But in the end the only thing that matters is that we - we! - made some serious money to help the dogs.

Last year it took about three weeks or so to get the donation receipt. I think it will take about the same amount of time this year. And as soon as I have that receipt, I will post it in here. To see for everybody. Members and guests. And I will post the names of the folks who bought the tickets. Not how much tickets, but who. Because I hope that we will have next year even more folks to help the doggies. By buying tickets.

Robby, that's a decent amount of money.
I hope it goes a long way to help care for the pups.

This is one of the things that makes WB uniquely awesome. Well done, all!
I'll give it a try, Dad, but it's going to be really hard...kind of like trying to saw something in half using a banana.

Awesome news, Robby. Sorry that I didn't contribute this year.

Here we go - the money is on it‘s way and we can (slowly but surely!) prepare for next year. I found the place for the WB Meet & Greet in 2019. And it is only about 8 to 9 minutes to walk from my home. I discovered it by pure accident. But first things first. Those are the members (and none members) that donated to the dog shelter:

Ralph Masemann
Ben Varsek
Rachel McCullough
Roger Tuson
Sven Van Leeuwen
Ron May
Flemming Bo Christiansen
Gitte
Jyri-Pekka Haveri
Nadine Diek
Wolfgang Timm
Mark Elliot
Robert Gage
Georg Ernst
Jessie Edwards
Tyler Blake

The only thing that confuses me is, that we are (at the moment) 33 members, but only 16 participted in the dog shelter campaign. I mean - Gitte bought a whole lot of tickets, but is not even a member. Others - who are members for long years did not.

Perhaps next year :)

As you say, Robby - perhaps next year!

Still, this year's result is very respectable! Well done, everybody! :)

No thanks for me, Sven. It is thanks to all the great folks who donated. I‘m only the gatekeeper, the guy with the screwdriver :)

Good job everyone!

Robby, Tanja also bought tickets. Since she doesn't have a paypal account, I've placed two seperate donations (one where it said "tickets for Ben" and another one where it said "tickets for Tanja" in the description). We are both very happy that this years campaign raised a lot of money to help the dogs and thats what counts for us!

All the best
Ben
