I love this video!!! Congratulations, Craig, this is well deserved! You are doing an excellent job and you have truly developed your own unique style. This whip is a monster of epic proportions.
Robby, I love the effects, and the play on Frankenstein. Very well done and enjoyable as always!

After over a year of whip making hiatus, I finally started making a new whip for a departing coworker. Access to necessary materials and tools here in Korea has been a challenge. I'll try to upload photos, but I'm having trouble accessing photobucket. I'm making this one as Thunderstorm, not Frankenwhip.
If I can't run fast, I'll make slow look impressive.

hey Craig, good to see you! is it gonna be blue and white or is that a belly? Take a triangle file and cut grooves with that about 1 mm deep. at least 3 rings. mix a little epoxy and smear it on the rod, slide the core on there and then sinew like a mother. no more slipping.
Due to rising costs, dirty deeds are no longer done dirt cheap.

I always sinew like a mother. The one that really gave me slippage problems was the one I made for Roger, and I think that was mostly because of how ungodly heavy it was. Blue and grey are just the colors that I use for the bellies so that I can see the braiding easier in order to avoid twists and gaps.Jessie Edwards wrote:hey Craig, good to see you! is it gonna be blue and white or is that a belly? Overlay done. Need to work on the knots this weekend.
Ignore my wife being goofy.
