Masterly crafted Whips

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

  Masterly crafted Whips

Post by Robby Amper »

Here you will find different galleries. Professional whip makers and those who are making whips "only" out of passion.

And there will be another, new thread. It's called: "The Gallery - Making of". The Gallery itself will be open to the public. The "Gallery - Making of" will be not! This very special area will be accessable only and exclusive for full members. Not for guests. Not for New Members. Why? Pretty simple.

The same reason as for the upcoming FAQ section is only for members. That making of section will hold some precious informations and interesting stuff over time. And I don't want this to become the back door entry for those who give a shit on community and/or contributing. Earn the full membership. Then you'll have access to all the good stuff.

All that will start in January.

Here we go! The new gallery is open to the public :) The old "Masters Gallery" works as closed archive, from now on. Now it's on you to bring it to life. And don't forget about the "Making of" section, okay?

It's in your hands, now...

Nice work Robby,
I really hope we'll see a lot of new stuff and ideas populate this new section.
We have some incredibly talented people on here who should use this opportunity to share and discuss their craftsmanship.

I am the one who has to say thank you! Without the members who really contribute, all this would be impossible.
Together we create a wonderful, interesting and informative thing!

Greetings master whip makers.
I hope that you can help me, and that the request I have from you all is not too stupid or insulting to your efforts as whip makers, as I have looked at most of your websites, and enjoyed viewing all of your fine collections.
I am looking to invest in a bullwhip at 8 foot long made out of waterproof material such as paracord or nylon, as where I live is very wet.
But I am hoping any of you could be so kind as to suggest a totally practical whip (if such a one exists) which is an absolute tank, and can stand up to lots of practice, and hopefully forgiving of an over zealous whip arm on occasion?
Lending your wisdom and experience in this matter would be really appreciated! Thank you.

What's the ground like where you will practice Russell? Is it grassy, is there underbrush, etc...

Hi Tyler,
It is very grassy, pretty much all year around unless we have a drought or something.

If it doesn't get too muddy when it rains a lot (it does that here) then I would say really any synthetic whip (any well made one, that is) should work just fine :)

I know I am a new member, but I absolutely appreciate this. It is a wonderful idea.

It doesn't matter, if someone is here for 6 or 7 years, or 6 - 7 hours. The rules - and the rights! - apply to everyone. I accepted you as member. And so you are entitled to say what ever you want to say. Go ahead :)
