Re: Adam Winrich style whip
I'm very interested in how this whip will perform.
Good job integrating the two sized cords.

That looks pretty cool, Jyri. No e work.
I finally made it to the handle.
Slow but steady..
Jyri, I like the look of it a lot.
Nice job.
Ron
Jyri, I really like the looks of the pattern with the different size cords.
That's such a unique look there Jyri, using those two sizes looks amazing. I really hope you make more whips in this style, using different colours, and am eager to hear how it performs too!
Thank you!
It got really bunched up in the diamond plait. I should have done it in gaucho plait all the way but this is just a prototype.
This is the first whip wich is this flexible without waxing. It will be interesting to see what happens when i wax it.
Next one should be good. I will use 2 colours to next one.
Very nicely done Jyri.
I think it looks very cool.
I like the idea of more flexibility.
I hope the waxing only makes it perform better.
So far how does it crack?
Ron
Thanks!
It cracks nicely but the balance will change as i insert the concho and make the knots.
I have to make new fall as well. I hope to finish it tomorrow
Here is the whip with the unfinished heel foundation.

Mounting the concho, i would say it that i wont get easier than this to put it in the center of the whip.
It is very interesting Jyri. How long is it ?
Good job Jyri.
This turned out better than I thought it might.
Ron
Thanks!
Flemming i measure it once i get it ready.
I wonder how it performs, once it’s finished! Looks great so far.
Looks pretty cool, Jyri.
Here is the heel. I really need to change my concho material. This takes straches way too easily.
Good job on the heel Jyri.
Could you put a clear coating or something to help protect the concho?
Ron
Ron it is just way too soft as a steel. After wax there is a very thin coat on it wich has protected it from sweat and oxydicing pretty well. I'm going to use stainless steel, titanium etc in the future.
Jyri, that's a good plan.
Ron
Jyri, as always, you make a well-made and beautifully detailed whip.
