Re: My whips this far

Sweet Jyri! I see you did an english eye. Nice job keeping everything straight and even!

What method did you use to add strands?

Also, what did you use for the concho?

Re: My whips this far

Thank you!
Ethan, i place strand under side of the thong and plait sometime over it and pull it in and continued plaiting. Then i added second one same way. Then i added them bolth same time or with a tiny space so there is as little uneven plaiting as possible. I should learn to do it better tought.

But it works... wink

I'll give it a try, Dad, but it's going to be really hard...kind of like trying to saw something in half using a banana.

Number 18
8ft 32plait bullwhip with english eye and 200years old wrought iron concho. My first try in real fancy plaiting.

That is lovely, Jyri. The plaiting is excellent. How does it crack?

Jyri, this is legitimately an amazing looking whip! I really like how...clean your transition knot looks!

Re: My whips this far

Thank you very much everyone!

Absolutely terrific, Jyri! That looks to me like a real Masterpiece!

Re: My whips this far

Wow!!! That looks amazing! You should definitely find somewhere to hang that on the wall once you have it broken in. So you can show it off to guests.

Re: My whips this far

Thanks Ron and it does crack with little efford and flicks are impossible at the moment. Victorian cutback works beatifully already.
