Thanks, Tyler-
Not exactly, it stands for "Uncle Bill", his nick name.

Here's a new one I just finished, nothing fancy or extraordinary, but here you go:
10 ft. 14 plait two belly
15" Goncalo Alves handcut handle.
Wood stock for handle from Whip Nation.

Rachel, another fine looking whip.
Is the white stuff wax?

Ron

I may not be that funny or athletic or good looking or smart or talented... I forgot where I was going with this.

Re: This is the Gallery of "Wolf Creek Whips" - Rachel McCollough

Yessir it's wax, it was bit cool outside this morning.  At 250, it'll still cool quick on the thinner parts.

Looking great Rachel, the nice simple combination of yellow wood and a brown thong.

If you look at it from a distance, the chocolate brown cord actually makes it look like it's made of leather

Splendid, Rachel! Very 'businesslike'!

Re: This is the Gallery of "Wolf Creek Whips" - Rachel McCollough

Thank you, Philbert, I appreciate it,
Oliver, thank you!  Mr. Robert, I thank you too, 'Businesslike' is exactly as it is intended, indeed!

It was wanted for round pen work with horses, as well as cattle in the open.

Solid! Nice one Rachel : )

Re: This is the Gallery of "Wolf Creek Whips" - Rachel McCollough

Beautiful as usual. I like the size of that 14 plait. It looks a tad more shoulder friendly than a 16 plait and easier cracking than a light weight 12 plait.

He died for me, I'll live for him

Re: This is the Gallery of "Wolf Creek Whips" - Rachel McCollough

Thank you Erik and Roy!

Roy you hit the nail on the head, it (to the best of my knowledge) appears tip heavy enough still to do well in most weather but as you say not so tough on the shoulder as it would get to be in a round pen.
