Great! Yep, Mike Murphy always did beautiful work. I wish I could make whips half as well as he did. Jeff, I just got home and opened it. It is beautiful. Thank you, sir. I'll be making a video in the next few days to show it. Ben and I both contacted each other about the whip he won. I am in the mi...

Just watched the video. Congratulations Robbie, Sir Roger, and Robert on a successful and "clean/honest" drawing. And congratulations on raising such a large amount for the Doggies.

It shows clearly what happens, if someone travels back in time and squashes even one single insect. We need to be really cautios back then... Robby OOPS! there went civilization. Remember the episode of Star Trek Generations where Q takes Picard back in time to where 2 cells combine and human civil...

Loved the original "Time Machine". Yes, the effect were a bit cheesy compared to today but back then they were awesome. I still remember the morlock decomposing before his eyes. 3 books? Too many to count but I would say: The Book of Mormon Heinlein's "Time Enough for Love" My Am...

Make it from curly birch with the brass ferrule at the top, maybe a bit of a "hook" on the butt.

The remake of Dune I found to be much better than the original, although I liked them both, especially the final fight between Kyle Mclaughlin and Sting. The Duke Harkonnen was just way too creepy.

One of those sadly rare movies where the real action is inside your head. The 'action inside your head' films are far more exciting than those with any number of explosions, car-chases and shoot-outs. How many remember the parts in Jurrasic Park where all you saw was a quick glimpse of a dinosaur, ...

I remember seeing this years ago, and have read the book many times. I found the book and the movie to be very well done and totally kept my attention. From what I remember out of the 56 inhabitants only a newborn and an old drunk survived the initial outbreak, and they couldn't figure out why. I do...

So Cool. I love the Finnish flag look on the handle.

Yes, you could do the whipmaker's plait or herringbone, and occasionally switch to checkerboard to bring out the flag again.

Ethan, Steel rod is too heavy for a stockwhip handle. As narrow as the thong looks it needs a lighter handle. I would try a fiberglass rod instead. It will be able to handle the stresses but remain lightweight. Good part about stockwhips is it is easy to change handles!

Ethan, that stockwhip actually looks pretty good. Work on the heel knot a bit though. How is the balance between the handle and the thong?
