Ethan, that would require a far steadier hand than I have! And I imagine the fibrous nature of palm makes it almost impossible to work....

Ethan, for what it's worth, my vote would be for acid brown - especially with a wooden handle.

These are good photos, Ethan! And the whip looks almost new, despite two years of use. I seem to remember a video you posted of this whip in action, soon after you got it.

Ben, that black and white whip is very fine - but white whips always make me a little nervous, since I can't believe they will stay white for very long! :P
